Healthy Recipes

During the past few years I have tried to adapt a healthier diet. After our first year of marriage I put on 10-15 pounds, and I didn't want to continue down that path. From my heaviest weight up until today, I have lost almost 30 pounds. Although I do enjoy goodies every once in awhile and am certainly not perfect in keeping them 100%, I have tried to follow a few simple rules. And the stricter I stick to these rules, the faster I see success.

My rules are:
Only whole grains (ie oatmeal, whole wheat bread, tortillas and noodles)
Eat only lean meats (tip: replace ground beef with ground turkey)
Fill up on vegetables!
No added butter or sugar to recipes
No juice or soda, only drink milk or water
No treats
